Concrete is hard to fix. So we plan first.

I grew up on a family farm where we fixed our own fences, barns and slabs, and that's where I learned to pour concrete. I started Optimum Wellington Concrete here in Wellington in 2023. Homeowners call us for driveways, patios, pool decks and steps, and property owners call for slabs, foundations and lots across Palm Beach County.

That means time on the plan before any truck shows up. No slab is fully crack-proof, so we look at the ground, where the water runs and where cracks should land before we pour. You can read more about us and how we work.

About us

Concrete for home and business. Built from the ground up.

From a backyard patio to a parking lot, every job starts with me on site. Size, ground prep, finish and access drive price and schedule, all laid out in your written estimate.

  • A broad light-gray concrete driveway with straight control joints leads to a dark garage, bordered by stone walls and landscaped beds.

    Concrete driveway building

A new driveway, or a replacement for one that's cracked, sinking or pooling water, poured over a dug-out, packed base.

  • Large rectangular concrete patio slabs with grass-filled joints form a geometric path beside a brick house with a red tile roof.

    Concrete patio construction

Patios for the backyard, sized to how you'll use the space and sloped so rain runs away from the house.

  • A gray stamped concrete driveway with a red border leads to a suburban house and garage.

    Stamped concrete services

When you want plain concrete to look like stone, brick or tile, we press a pattern and color into the fresh surface.

  • Fresh concrete driveway with scored rectangular panels leads to a brown house with double garage doors and landscaped flower beds.

    Concrete sidewalk building

Walks from the driveway to the door or around the yard, with control joints, cuts that tell cracks where to go.

  • Stamped concrete patio with a geometric stone pattern, black railings, green-cushioned chairs and a closed umbrella.

    Garage floor concrete

A new garage slab or a replacement for a cracked, chipping one, built thick enough for the cars and gear it carries.

  • Stamped concrete walkway with an irregular stone pattern leads to broad tan concrete steps at a brick house, flanked by stone lion statues.

    Decorative concrete

Color, exposed stone and custom finishes for spots where the look of the concrete matters as much as how it wears.

  • Tiered gray block retaining walls terrace a planted hillside with shrubs, rocks and a paved path.

    Concrete retaining walls

Walls that hold back soil on a slope or raised bed, built with rebar, steel bars that tie the concrete together.

  • Fresh gray concrete driveway with straight control joints extends to a white house with dark garage doors.

    Concrete floor installation

Interior concrete floors for additions, workshops and commercial spaces, poured level and finished smooth or ready for whatever flooring goes on top.

  • A light-gray stamped concrete deck surrounds a rectangular blue swimming pool in a landscaped backyard.

    Concrete pool decks

A pool deck needs grip under wet feet and a slope away from the water, so we plan both before the pour.

  • Gray paved patio and walkway meet a raised landing and concrete steps with metal railings, surrounded by lawn and flower beds.

    Concrete steps construction

Front, back or porch steps rebuilt when the old ones crack, settle or wobble, with each step the same height underfoot.

  • Decorative stamped concrete patio beneath a raised wooden deck, with a gray tile-like pattern beside a blue-sided house.

    Slab foundation building

The slab a new house, addition or outbuilding sits on, with the subgrade, the ground underneath, dug, packed and checked first.

  • Aerial view of a large gray concrete patio beside a brick house, with outdoor seating and a circular fire pit area.

    Foundation installation

For new builds and additions that need a full foundation, we lay out, form and pour the base the walls will stand on.

  • Gray concrete patio with broad rectangular slabs, outdoor chairs, steps, and a leafy garden beside a house.

    Concrete parking lot building

Commercial lots and larger paved areas, graded so water runs off and built thick enough for daily traffic.

  • Covered white-brick patio with pale concrete flooring, broad raised steps, and black-framed sliding glass doors.

    Concrete footings

Footings are the concrete pads and strips under posts, walls and columns, and we size them to the load before we dig.

  • Dark stamped concrete driveway between two buildings, patterned to resemble brick and reflecting the sunlight.

    Foundation raising

If a slab or foundation has sunk or tilted, we look at why it moved first, then lift and level it.

  • Curved concrete patio with scored panels and a circular stone fire pit beside a house.

    Concrete cutting

Clean cuts through slabs and walls for new doorways, utility lines or removing a damaged section without breaking up what's around it.

Straight answers, then good concrete. That's why people call.

  1. Your job explained before you sign

I go over what we'll build, what it will do and what it won't, so you know what you're paying for and why.

  2. The person who quotes it builds it

I'm the one who comes out and gives your estimate, and I'm on site leading our crew when we build, so what we agreed is what gets done.

  3. An estimate you can compare

Each item is written out on its own line, so you can see what's included and lay it beside another contractor's quote fairly.

  4. Licensed and fully insured on every job

We carry our license and full insurance on everything from porch steps to commercial lots. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Curved stone seating wall with colorful cushions surrounds a stamped concrete patio and circular stone fire pit.

We look after more than the slab. Your yard counts too.

Looking after a job starts underground. I'd rather put the time into digging out and packing the base than into a fancy finish, because a nice top on loose dirt settles and cracks with it.

On site, we keep our gear off your lawn and plants where we can and clean up when we're done. Then the new concrete is roped off while it cures, the wait while it hardens enough to use.
