About our concrete contractor company in Wellington
We build driveways, patios, pool decks, slabs and foundations in Wellington and across Palm Beach County. Every job starts with a plain talk about the plan and the ground under it.

I learned concrete on a farm. We explain before we pour.
I grew up on a family farm where we fixed our own fences, barns and slabs, and that's where I first learned to mix and pour concrete. After years of working with my hands, I started Optimum Wellington Concrete here in Wellington in 2023.
Homeowners call us for driveways, patios, pool decks and steps, and property owners call us for bigger work like slabs, foundations and lots. We're based in Wellington and work in cities across Palm Beach County, including the ones on this site and others nearby.
What I care about most is that you understand your concrete before you pay for it, what it will do and what it won't. Concrete is hard to fix once it sets, so I'd rather spend the time on the plan and the ground up front than explain a problem later.

It starts with your call. I'm there through the pour.
A job with us runs in four plain steps, and at each one you'll know what's happening and why before we move on.
Get in touch
Call (561) 268-0415 or use our contact page and tell us about the job. We answer our own phone and reply to every call or message within one business day.
I come out
I come out myself to look at the job, check the ground and where the water runs, and talk through what you want and what concrete can do there.
Written estimate
Your estimate is free, done on site and comes with no obligation. I walk you through the options and put what's included in writing.
We build it
Our crew sets the forms, pours and finishes the concrete, then cleans up, with me on site leading the work. We're licensed and fully insured.
What you get with us. Straight answers and solid ground.
Plain words before you sign
Before you sign anything, I explain the job in plain words, so you know what you're getting and why. Ask the same question twice, and I'll answer it twice.
The same person on pour day
The person who looks at your job is on site when we build it, so what we talked about in your driveway is what gets done.
An estimate you can read
Your estimate is written out line by line, so you can see what's included, ask about any part of it and compare it fairly with others.
Options without the push
I lay out the choices that fit your job and what each one changes, and I won't steer you toward the bigger option to raise the price.
Driveways, slabs and foundations. Homes and bigger properties too.
Most of what we pour is flatwork, the flat slabs like driveways, patios and walks, but we also build walls, steps, footings and foundations.
Concrete driveway building
A new driveway when the old one is cracked or sinking, poured on a packed base that holds up to your cars.
Concrete patio construction
Got a bare yard or an uneven patio? We pour an even slab that sends rain away from the house.
Stamped concrete services
Concrete pressed with a pattern and colored to look like stone, brick or tile, for patios, walks and pool areas.
Concrete sidewalk building
Walkways and front paths, replaced when a section has heaved, cracked or turned into a trip hazard.
Garage floor concrete
A new or replaced garage slab, thick enough for the weight it carries and finished smooth enough to sweep clean.
Decorative concrete
When plain gray isn't what you want, we add color, patterns and finishes to driveways, patios and walks.
Concrete retaining walls
Walls that hold back soil where your yard changes height, built with steel inside and a way for water to drain.
Concrete floor installation
Interior concrete floors for additions, workshops and outbuildings, poured flat and finished for what the room will hold.
Concrete pool decks
The slab around your pool, textured for grip under wet feet and sloped so water drains off.
Concrete steps construction
Front and back steps that are cracked, crumbling or uneven, rebuilt with each step the same height so nobody catches a toe.
Slab foundation building
The ground-level slab a house, addition or building sits on, laid over a packed base with steel set inside.
Foundation installation
For new construction and additions, we lay out, dig and pour the foundation that carries everything built on top.
Concrete parking lot building
Lots for businesses and larger properties where a driveway won't do, graded so rain runs off instead of pooling.
Concrete footings
The buried concrete under posts, walls, columns and additions that spreads their weight so they don't sink.
Foundation raising
If a slab or floor has dropped or tilted, we look at why first, then lift it back toward level.
Concrete cutting
Clean cuts through slabs and walls for new doorways, plumbing runs or removing a damaged section without breaking the rest.
